Investors & funders
The diligence ispre-answered.
EcoConnect is a pre-launch, verification-first carbon-market pilot seeking grant funding. This page tells you what is real, what is not yet, and what would have to be true before you commit capital — before you ask.
The honest position: no grant is awarded, no revenue exists, the legal entity is not yet registered, and the founder is solo. What does exist is a working, inspectable integrity-scoring product, a complete grant application package, engineering discipline you can audit in this codebase, and a live funnel capturing real pilot demand. We would rather you invest — or decline — on those facts than on theatre.
No borrowed credibility
What is real today, and what is still being built.
Live today
- Interactive, deterministic integrity-scoring model (testable live in your browser)
- Published seven-control verification methodology
- Full grant and business documentation library
- Partner and pilot-buyer inquiry channel
In progress — not yet real
- Onboarding the first pilot buyers and project developers
- Formalising registry and verification partnerships (in discussion, not yet signed)
- Independent legal and compliance review ahead of any live transactions
- Independent evaluation framework for the 24-month pilot
Application figures — nothing is secured
A grant-sized pilot,not a venture-sized promise.
Originally scoped at $8.0M investor-style and deliberately repositioned to a $975K 24-month pilot ($780K grant request + $195K applicant match). Milestone-gated, independently evaluated, and small enough to be accountable.

Ask us anything — we started without you
The questions a skepticalinvestor asks first.
Every answer below is verifiable against this site's public codebase. If an answer ever contradicts the code, treat the code as the truth and tell us.
- Is any funding secured?
- No. The $780K grant request and $975K pilot budget are application figures, not awards. There is no revenue and no external capital in the company today.
- Is the legal entity registered?
- Yes. CECO L.L.C. is registered in Kosovo (Business ID 812382810, Malishevë, Kosovo; not vat/tvsh registered). Verify it against the Kosovo business registry before wiring anything — we expect you to.
- Are there users or transactions?
- No. The database-backed waitlist and inquiry funnel on this site is how real demand is being captured and counted. Any traction number we ever cite comes from that export — nothing else.
- What actually works today?
- The deterministic 7-control integrity-scoring model (test it on /integrity, print a report), the AI-assisted preview pipeline (flag-gated, disclaimed), validated contact/waitlist capture, and the full grant document library. Marketplace execution is flag-gated OFF pending legal, registry, and payment sign-off.
- Who is the team, really?
- One person: Ermal Limaj (Founder & CEO). Key-person risk is total and undiversified. An advisory group is being formed; no advisors are signed yet.
- What are the hard dependencies?
- Patch.io (carbon inventory and fulfilment for the future exchange), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI-assisted previews), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Postgres (persistence). Any live-trading capability additionally depends on legal review, registry agreements, and payment licensing that do not exist yet.
- What is the revenue model?
- Planned, not proven: a 2% facilitation fee on pilot transactions (implemented in code, gated off) plus future verification and reporting services. No pricing has been validated with paying customers.
- How is security handled?
- Strict TypeScript, Zod-validated inputs, per-IP rate limiting, honeypots, CSP/HSTS headers, no secrets in the repository, CI with a secret scanner, unit + e2e tests. No authenticated accounts or private data intake exist on the public site by design.
