The voluntary carbon market is meant to fund real climate action. But fragmentation across registries and a series of greenwashing scandals have left buyers unable to tell a credible credit from a worthless one — so many simply stop buying, or buy quietly and hope no one looks too closely.

EcoConnect exists to make the evidence behind a carbon project inspectable. We score projects against seven transparent integrity controls and present the reasoning, not just a number. We are deliberately not a registry, a certifier, or — today — a live exchange. We are the diligence layer that should sit in front of all three.

We are funded by grant rather than venture capital on purpose. Getting evidence quality right means moving carefully and submitting to independent evaluation — priorities that public-benefit funding protects and investor return timelines tend to erode.
